And bad programming is not patented feature of MicroSoft.  I have had the
on-board computer on my Chevy Silverado crash.  Luckily not at a time when
it put me in danger.  But it is interesting to watch everything just stop
and you have to wait a couple of minutes before things come back to life.
And, yes, everything is controlled by the on-board computer.
