   And makes lots of money providing capabilities that ship with VMS or
   MVS, or could be had cheaply with an ISAM package on anything else.

   Oracle and other DBMS have a lot of features above and beyond that of
   an ISAM package, features that many people need, and features that
   are often paid for, ignored, and unused by folks who's idea of system
   engineering is "follow the hype".
