I think RMS should be updated to understand the structure of images. You
could $OPEN a .JPG file, and have the FAB/RAB populated with all of the
image attributes (including EXIF information) and you could then read
record by record (scan line) with RMS doing the decompression for you
automatically.

Later on, they should add RMS capabilities to parse movie files as well.
