Actually, I was about to pose the same question. I'd be interested in
how unix disks are handled, at a level similar to an explanation of
INDEXF containing list of FILE_IDs and file structure/security
information, and then the [000000]000000.dir file being the root
directory with directory files being essentially just sequential list of
filenames and fileIDs contained in that directory.

Also interested in how mount points are implemented. Are they just like
a glorified directory file ?
