Speaking for the broader population....
Change that "every" above to "some" (probably few) in the second to
last sentence, then change that "some" to "many" in that last
sentence.
Most teens I know use a computer as a tool and could care less about
its guts. Its an appliance.
Computing has somewhat changed over the years. Most here remember
when computers were analagous to the Model T. Ya had to get out and
crack them to get them started, futz (often) with the engine, etc.
Today you get in, turn the key (if there is one), and off you go.
Yes, computers still need to be programmed/maintained, etc. But what
% of the general population was actually involved with this? Dunno
know, but its probably a small percentage, compared to the appliance
operators.
