So has the price of a Porsche but most people still can't afford one.

1.5TB Seagate Baracuda -- SATA -- $129
The only SCSI I found at or below this price was an "open box special"
and it was only 36GB and only for use in a Proliant box.

Maybe, until you add in the cost of a QBUS SCSI controller.
