With the new ZIP and UNZIP, this is a huge advantage. It's not only
archive files larger than 2GB (i.e. ZIP archive is larger than 2GB), but
also individual files bigger than 2GB when unzipped as well as smaller
files adding up to more than 2GB in an archive. I'm not sure, but maybe
the total number of files per archive has increased as well.
I can say that the large-file stuff is well tested.
There are also improvements to various options etc.
