Well, not quite sure what you're trying to do, though I doubt you really
want to turn your routing nodes loose (;-))... ("lose" and "loose" are
often confused.)
Seriously, unless you have multiple areas or multiple LAN segments, you
really should not need any DECnet routing nodes.
If, for some reason, you're not seeing adjacency between DECnet nodes on
the same LAN segment or VLAN, you can always use a sort of DECnet "ping"
to see if (at the very least) you have DECnet connectivity to the other
node.
With an appropriate proxy set up on both ends, simply
$ TYPE node::NLA0:
If the $STATUS is good, the partner node may be alive and well; if not,
you've got some exploring to do.
