I'm trying to install C and C++ on Alpha under VMS 8.3.
I use the official CD set, supplied by HP,
and follow the installation manual.
Both C and C++ are on Software Products Library disk 2.

I get

%VMSINSTAL-E-NOPRODS, None of the specified products were found.

even though the installation kits seem to be there.
However, installation of basic goes ahead as normal.

The full output is below.

I'm probably missing something simple. Or maybe
there is some problem with the media or drive?
Please advise

many thanks
anton
