[Info-vax] FTP sesion against a vms server fails

If you can FTP from OpenVMS to OpenVMS, which you say works,
I see no reason why FTP from your PeeCee shouldn't.  TELNET
to port 21 and see if you can log in:

> TELNET hosname 21
...connection message...
USER your-username
PASS your-password
STAT
PWD
QUIT

If that works, please explain in more detail why you don't
believe you can FTP between Weendoze and OpenVMS.
