HP Fortran v8.2 user manual, appendix B:
http://h71000.www7.hp.com/doc/82final/6443/6443pro_044.html#ap_compat
states that HP Fortran (HF) only supports OpenMP
and parallel decomposition on Tru64 alpha,
i.e. there is no support for OpenMP in HP Fortran on VMS.
Now, I understand that Tru64 will die with alpha, and
its users are being advised to migrate to HP-UX,
but there is no HP Fortran for HP-UX, only GCC fortran, isn't it?
I'm not sure if GCC fortran is an adequate replacement for HP fortran.
Any suggestions for enabling shared memory parallelisation, similar
to OpenMP, with HP Fortran on VMS integrity, say rx26xx?
many thanks
