There are, so far as I know, two kinds of flash memory. One is
readable (and, sort of, writable) word by word (NOR?), one is
addressable only in blocks (NAND?). Hoff talks as though storage is
going to use the word-addressable one - "Need it saved? memcpy it" -
but doesn't affordable solid state disk in any worthwhile size come
based on the block-addressable (NAND?) one?

Anyway, no one will ever need more than 640TB.
