The kids should learn to use Windows.  They should ALSO learn that 
Windows is not the ONLY operating system they may encounter.  Ideally 
they should learn at least one of the Unix/Linux family of O/S's.

It would be nice if they could learn VMS but that ain't going to happen!
Cost of hardware or emulation software and licenses would be real killers.
