The reason I mentioned Macro32 was because it is part of VMS.
I don't think the OP will want to buy a license for a compiler (even
though its may support 64 bit pointers and P2) for what seems to be a
one-off piece of code. The only other 'free' compiler is BLISS, right?
Are there compilers that support 64 bit address space on Alpha or
Itanium?
