This does not seem to work well so far.
I thought about it and can reconfigure my server to free one 4GB disk
currently in a shadowset, and use that to do the backup which I will later
zip.
It will just need a reboot (arrgh!) as I have to move the system disk to a
smaller disk.
Thanks again to all who tried to get zip to work with stdin, maybe
eventually it will and help others (or even me if I want to skip one step in
my backup).
Have a good day all.
