Comcast does employ some technical people but they are not the ones who 
answer the phones!  If you have an hour or two to waste, you can 
actually speak to someone who knows what an IP address is.  If you tell 
him that the server at an address you give him has ceased to respond,
he may be able to verify that the server is malfunctioning and dispatch 
a repair crew.

Comcast wants to sell me telephone service.  I just tell them that when 
they are as reliable as Verizon, I will consider it.  They have a LONG 
way to go.
