Oh, dear.
The DCPS V2.7 installation procedure checks for the existence of the
USB ECO kit appropriate for the OpenVMS version and architecture.
The UPDATE kits install the contents of the individual kits but not by
their individual names. So when you do a PRODUCT SHOW HISTORY command,
you'll see VMS83A_UPDATE but not VMS83A_USB.
This "breaks" the DCPS installation procedure. The DCPS$PCSI_CONFIGURE
command procedure will have to be changed to check for the appropriate
minimum versions of the UPDATE kit in addition to the USB kit.
This is an easy change. I could do it but no longer work for HP so
can't repackage the kit. But since the procedure is distributed with
the DCPS kit, I could post my suggestion on what coding changes would
need to be made.

This will be a problem on any system that installed the USB kit only
from the UPDATE kit. And the checking is not done in the
PCSI$DESCRIPTION file, but in the aforementioned command procedure.
