God forbid if I should wake up 1 second early because my clocks are 1
second ahead of the world !!!

The issue just got me to wonder how I can ensure the clocks are properly
set.

Is it correct to state that the NTP clocks provide UTC as well as total
leap seconds accumulated or do the NTP clocks provide an adjusted time
that includes leap seconds ?
