And instead of "currently" shouldn't it be "presently" ?

I have the perfect answer to this:

There are times when VMS is/was able to extend the CURRENT
page/dump/swap file. And there are times when it needs to create a new
one from scratch.

So the "CURRENT" indicates that it is the existing file. an the
"currently" indicates it is its present size.

Perhaps some branch of the DCL might result in either:

>        Current dump file is REX$DKA0:[SYS0.SYSEXE]sysdump.dmp
>        Current dump file size is currently 1891959.

         Current dump file size will be extended to 20000000.
or
         New dump file size will be 2000000.


So, when you look at the sequence of messages, there are times wherethe
redundancy makes sense based on one type of message that might follow it.
