As of version 8.3, you can also use Mini-Copy operations to recover from
unplanned outages. If you set up the Host-Based Mini-Merge (HBMM) policy
so that a Multi-Use bitmap is available, Shadowing can automatically
convert a Mini-Merge write bitmap into one it can use for a Mini-Copy
operation to recover. See the 8.3 New Features info at
http://h71000.www7.hp.com/doc/83final/6679/6679pro_007.html and/or the
VTJ V11 article at
http://h71000.www7.hp.com/openvms/journal/v11/hbmm_amcvp_openvms_shadowing.html
for more details on Automatic Minicopy on Volume Processing (AMCVP).
