[Info-vax] Can this Bootcamp be saved? (was: 2009 VMS Bootcamp notice)

I am flabbergasted by this announcement and cannot follow the logic behind
it.

If emails- and better yet, letters (remember them?) are sent to the top
people in the HP and especially the BCS organizations, we might just be able
to get them to rescind this decision.

Letters should be businesslike and to the point, as they've heard far too
much of what the rhetoricians call "appeal to emotion" from people on other
subjects.

I know that both purchasing as well as strategic decisions have been made
based upon information presented in Bootcamps Past, and IMHO this would be
the direction to take in communications with said individuals.
