If you can't trust your own users, you have more serious problems than
you might get from XDM. And you can keep your XDM local eliminating
any fears of outsiders getting at it. I have run XDM for years and
that has never been the vector for an attack. And, no, it is not
available anywhere but locally. And I know I can't trust my users.
