Those rx2600s are really under-priced. The seller has been lowering
the price since the first week they listed them on eBay. When you've
got too many to unload you lower the price. Prior to these showing up
on eBay the rx2600s that had previously sold went for $400+.
Also consider the time & money you're "investing" in trying to get a
generic drive connected to the HP cable. You've got to source the
little adapter thingy on the back of the drive, then source the clip
to hold the drive into the chassis, then keep your fingers crossed
that it gets identified correctly by EFI and OpenVMS.
Spending $60 makes life much easier and, as I mentioned to Richard
Maher, it avoids many self-inflicted headaches.
