Why?  The whole world doesn't speak english.  If French can ge the job
done use it.  While I am sure some people here were annoyed, some of us
have no problem with other languages than english being used.  I don't
even mind when it happens to be one I don't understand.  I just hit the
"n" key.  I certainly get annoyed when I see posts from people who think
english is the only legitimate language for use on USENET.
