I see about 1 per day and they are very recognizable and easily
ignored.
I just use groups.google to do my access. Works for me, allthough I'm
told some of my replies have 'funny characters.' Sorry if that's still
the case. I don't see it.

Do you see more Spam? Through Email? I don't think it is this group.
Just now an entry appeared:

So I just ignore that.
It is maybe the 3rd of that kind this week.
