I ordered from 'serverworlds', circa 6-DEC-2008, and the CDRW/DVD's
delivered were the ones described above (funky connector, and clip).

You might push back, and see if you can exchange yours.
If you have other VMS systems nearby, you might be able to
use the VMS-based infoserver in the meantime. (which what I did)
