It works for me on a full installation of Solaris 10.

You DO need to do a little setup to make this work.  I managed to get 
through it about five years ago and haven't needed to do it since. See 
(I think) man catman and the "-w" option.

Yes, you do!  WITH the quotation marks!

If you wish to talk with a machine, you must limit yourself to the 
vocabulary and syntax that it understands.  The quotes make "copy files" 
one argument rather than two!
