Is this really true or just an urban legend ?
I have always suspected the Itanic goes
back to some weird Prof in (theoretical) computer
science. Such a person might have thought he (i.e. his students)
would be brilliant enough to create an indefinitely
smart compiler which can parallelize just about every
source code thrown at it.
