Hey, don't shoot the messenger.  I went to the expert.  This guy has
been an Apple fan since the first Apple ][.  If he can't get the Mac
to do stuff I can't see the unwashed having much of a chance at all.
And the question was, "Which one had the easier install?"  Ubuntu
was one click.  Even if all the Mac required was to check a bunch of
boxes it would be more, wouldn't it?
