On the outside the 3000m400 is a slightly different box. It has a
centronix style SCSI port, which the 3000m300 doesn't have.
The 3000m300 has no mounting slot for an internal cdrom drive either.
The turbochannel in the model 300 doesn't support blockmode transfers
(slower disk access, right?).
The SRM commands are limited, the functionality is not much more than
what you get on a VAXstation 4000.
It's not that operating the 3000m30x is difficult or impossible. It's
just that I'd like to have documentation about the systems that I
own...
The 3000 model 400 docs are a step in the right direction, thanks!
