also look for connection manager messages on the console (or
OPERATOR.LOG). Depending on your version of OpenVMS, SCACP may also be
helpful. There are various SCACP> SHOW commands to look at all kinds
of counters.

If you see many 'lost connection to node' and 're-established
connection to node' messages at certain times, you have to think about
multicast messages probably getting lost !
