This sounds reasonable as there are always a lot of "drops" with all the
10MB devices in the network. The net usually runs at 100MB or 1GB and 10GB in
the backbone.

It does, every 36 minutes. We took it down and replaced it with a spare one.
Same configuration, same OS and software release, things are fine again.
