Just browsing for vms. In 1992, I asked Marvin to close my vms
account because we had moved over to HP-UX. VMS was the best
operating system ever - the comments on <I>DEC is dead, long live DEC</
i> shows that DEC management did not realize just how good VMS was. I
took up unix with great enthusiasm but it took a year of pain to get
up to speed. I have been doing unix (now linux) for almost 20 years.
The validation characters are very hard to read - maybe they're
supposed to be?
