[Info-vax] Deathrow cluster update.

Hello all on comp.os.vms.   I just wanted to post a little update on
the happenings on the Deathrow cluster.

We where having issues with MANSON:: for a bit (SCSI errors).  This
was due to a bad drive.  We've pulled that drive and MANSON
(manson.vistech.net) appears to be stable.

We've also added a new node to deal with the increased load on the
cluster.   This new node is a SIMH machine running on a dual Xeon 3.06
ghz CPU with 256 megs of RAM allocated to SIMH.   It's using U320 SCSI
drives and should be a fast node for the cluster.   This node is known
as DAHMER:: (dahmer.vistech.net) and just went "online" today.

GEIN:: (DS10L) Alpha is up and stable.  We're hoping to add a Itanium
into the cluster soon.   The Itanium will likely been the last node to
be added to the cluster.
