The stupidity is that with AlGore scaring the bejeebers out of everyone 
over global warming farce (GWF), and in 200? Congress used as it's basis 
a study that showed the changes in the way people got up and went to 
work was significantly different in "modern times" and by changing the 
DST a few weeks earlier and ending a few weeks later, that we would save 
the planet and cut electrical consumption by 10-15%.  However, the farce 
is that the study was done in the late 60's and bears no resemblance to 
reality in the 21st century - just as the GWF does not reflect reality.
