I sympathize with not wanting to run Windows, but sometimes it's close
to inescapeable.

I'm pretty sure AM will run in at least one of the emulators.  I haven't
seen it run in an emulator on Linux, but if it gives you access to
the Ethernet in the same way as Windows, it should work.  You
might need a separate Etherenet device.

I have seen it run in an emulator under Windows, and I think it will
even run on Charon, but each instance needs it's own Ethernet
device (like a PC card).

If any of you do get it working I'm sure the folks here would like
to see you post the results.
