Sort of.  The disk name in the SCB isn't text, but two longwords.  The
first is the alloclass as a binary integer, the second is the ddcu: in
a compressed format.  The first is an integer and doesn't accomodate
a 6 character name.  You can't simply stick alloclass 0 in there since
it's not unique (FOO$DKA0: and BAR$DKA0: are both alloclass 0 and would
have the same representation in this format, but are different drives on 
different systems)
