Thanks, your site has helped out a lot. I'm still left with the lingering
question, How do they do it? A symbol is a symbol, except in different
levels, that's what I always thought. So how are the actually hidden?

It is a security thing. You can enable debugging for development then
disable it for production. Here is a list of the server logicals for
