The market wants free. After decades of paying for MS and HP/UX
products which had absolutely no quality, the market has decided that
they don't have to pay for free up front at least. The long run
financial losses due to using either or both of those platforms
industry wide exceed the limits of all calculators.

The market wants free. That's why EDS, InfoKall, Accenture and
basically every other on-shore, off-shore consulting firm is flying
Indians over on vacation Visas to work in this country. They are all
being paid through an off-shore entity so they don't show up on the
departmet of labor's or the department of imigration's logs. There
isn't even any income tax being paid. I've watched this happen too
many times at too many places. The abuse is rampant. In some cases
the people they are flying over are paid no more than $10/day.

Imigration needs to quit staging raids on fruit and vegitable farms
and start staging raids in corporate IT shops. Abuse of the system is
widespread, and no on-shore off-shore company is innocent.
