I've been to too many sites where "consultants" from those firms
simply "showed up" one day on-shore. When I asked them how they got
an H1-B so quickly they themselves replied they were in this country
on a vacation/tourist/holiday visa. You see, I'm not overly burdened
with some desire to seem "polite", I just outright (^&)(*&)*(ing ask
when people who were in conference calls from overseas suddenly appear
on-site.
A "tip to the IRS" does not rectify matters. I KNOW this as well.
Had you ever tried it you would KNOW this too.
The story/tale "Fired Twice" is actually a story about an InfoKall
"consultant" who was working in the country under a tourist visa.
Until a federal agency (INS) documents the visa violation with a raid,
the hands of the IRS are tied. The person is being paid through a non-
U.S. entity which is only partially or distantly owned by a U.S.
company. In some cases they aren't owned by a U.S. company at all.
