   If we read "the IDE cable" as "an IDE cable", then mine
did, but it's a fancy/unusual cable, with fancy/unusual
connectors, so I'd guess that you won't have anything to which
it'll connect.  I gather that the official DVD drive has a
suitable adapter pasted on.

   Ignoring things like capacity, speed, height, power
dissipation, and reliability, if you've seen one SCA SCSI disk
drive, you've seen them all.
