I have a VAXstation 2000 with 12megs with VMS 7.3 running so memory
should not be a issue. One way is to
look at the memory boards in the system. As I recall the M7622 was a
16 meg board and the M7621 was 8 megs.
Didnot most MicroVAX II come with 16megs. If your VAX II was in a
BA200 box I would offer you a DESQA.

Never had SYSGEN problems when booting or installing VMS. It seems
SYSGEN problems
came after.
