I tried USE DEFAULT, but this is what happened when I did:
SYSBOOT> USE DEFAULT
SYSBOOT> SET STARTUP_P1 "MIN"
SYSBOOT> SET VAXCLUSTER 0
SYSBOOT> CONTINUE
%SYSBOOT-F-PFN allocation overwrites CI ucode.

So, I have been trying lots of different values for NPAGEDYN (when I
realised it was in bytes and not pages) and I either get the PFN error or an
error about insufficient non-paged pool. One combination gave me:
OpenVMS (TM) VAX Version V7.3 Major version id = 1 Minor version id =
0
UNABLE TO TAKE BUGCHECK AT THIS POINT IN BOOTSTRAP
BUGCHECK CODE IS 0000063C
EXCEPTION PC IS 8031C212
STACK POINTER IS 806E55C8

About to try this one again as it could have been a glitch.
Regards
Rob
