All I have in there now is the CPU, two memory boards, a tape controller,
disk controller, serial controller and a DEQNA. I just read Hoffman's page
on Q-Bus (http://www.hoffmanlabs.com/openvms/hwvax/hwqbus.shtml) and this
has set me thinking that perhaps VMS is misidentifying a device due to some
config error. I think this may need to be the next thing to look at.
Unfortunately I do not have the means to image restore to the system disk as
it is an RD53 (of uncertain health at that) and I have no other machine that
can write to it. I realise the RD53 is a bit on the small side, but that is
all I have right now and I am struggling just to get standalone backup to
load.
Regards
Rob
