Haven't they already pretty much announced they aren't going to keep
the best operating system ever made?
They've actually talked Verizon Wireless into migrating their real-
time system which required full bundling of a distributed transaction
manager to that worthless HP/UX platform. Good luck keeping a
transaction in synch over multiple sites without a distributed
transaction manager or a full cluster.
Sell your Verizon stock now. Sell your HP stock just before the
shareholder lawsuit hits. It will make Bernie Madoff seem small
time. Obviously HP is hiring MBA's and not people who actually
understand software or the concept of network up-times.
This will actually be a bigger legal battle than CAT vs. Oracle.
