[Info-vax] Best way to dispose of VAX parts ?

I've just removed a VAX 4000-200 from my cabinet. (I have to make some
room for my new apple server that should arrive on Monday).
I've already found an outfit that picks up scap metal for free, so the
actual metal cabinet is to be easy to dispose.
I am not sure that "computer recycling outfits" such as Office Depot
actually take naked boards. They are probably geared to take some wintel
PCs and stack them one atop the other.
What is the best/recommended way to either dispose of the boards, or
make them available for anyone who might need them ? Should I inventory
them and list them on my web site ? Should I use Ebay for this ? (since
this may take months before anyone might pop up with a need for them,
does Ebay keep items for that long ? )
At this point in time (end of 2009), would anyone still need VAX
4000-200 parts ? Or are there so few left that there is no point in
doing the work to inventory/describe the parts to make them available to
others ?
