indeed. but perhaps one might consider the situation of the
manufacture of tanks. no-one is going to buy a light-weight aluminium
tank unless the manufacturers of armour-plated steel tanks seem to
have disappeared from the market.
similarly, if you hide the light of a robust operating system, it's
bound to lose ground to the lightweight (linux) and the joke (widnoze)
offerings.
