What is the date of the datasheet? That will help determine what "all
DLTtape formats" meant at the time.

My feeling is that it would be read-only for TK50/TK70/TK85, Read/write
for TK86/TK87 with compression enabled for TK87.

Then again, it's been a while since I saw one of those...
