[Info-vax] Text processing examples with Fortran requested

Whaooo what a success with my poor simple question... :-)

I'll try to answer all of yours:

why not DCL : I did, and it works fine, but the file is 200 000 lines
long
why Fortran : because I know it, well I knew it a few years ago
why not learn a new tool : no time
"there is something better than DCL" : huh ?
Fortran does not allow dynamic allocation : I do not need it
