High CPU, yes. I'm doing heavy text processing in DCL and Fortran (see

nice piece of software and needs a meeting point (unless the Company
gives up with support)

For those here who do not know CHARON-VAX/Alpha and the Alpha hobbyist
version from STROMASYS (formerly Software Resources int'l), Robert
Boers and his Pals were formerly part of DEC Enginnering, in charge of
emulation (RSX-11M AME, then VAX to Alpha, DECmigrate then ... good
bye COMPAQ in 1998)
